hi is me here introducing myself, iv had a few defenders years ago [ 20 years ago ] when I enjoyed fettling them to go green laning and towing a small boat around etc in cornwall , [doing general maintenance of the type fellow defender owners are used to].where do people get their parts nowadays? ie I need a rear crank oil seal 200tdi [its a no to genuine landrover stuff !] are britparts any good ?

Personally I've been using jgs 4x4 for bits for my tratter and have no complaints.

Some britpart things are okay, more complex or safety priority parts I avoid them like the plague. Bearmach are similar. Genuine LR is generally extortionate for what is necessary to keep your tratter going
