Hello, help!!!!! Lmao

Hi folks hoping someone can point me in the right direction.
My wife has a 2010 freelander 2 2.2 td4e.
It start rattling on the top end a few months ago and misfiring, so we parked it up, but I'm looking at sorting it.
Symptoms are, top end rattle, misfire, loads and loads of smoke (unburnt fuel, not oil) and can't seem to hear the turbo now.
Plugged in jlr nothing, no lights on dash, went unplugging injectors and No4 made no difference, so changed and recoded, but still misfires but on 1 now.

Broken, at a guess.

This bit is for intro's - a pic or two, and bit of background usually helps anorl ....

Then ask your questions in the relevant bit of the forum .... ( Hint:- Freelander section )

When you say "plugged in jlr" - I presume you mean they read the codes - there weren't any ... so they gave up ? - sounds like you'll be needing live data to find the broken bit .....
