Hi everyone, I will introduce myself before upsetting everyone with questions probably asked many times before, so apologies in advance.

Welcome aboard. Lets see some pics of your ride then - thems the rulez them is.:)

Pics or it didn't happen :p :D:D:D

I'm without a Land Rover at the moment, sold one a year ago @ going to look at one next Tuesday - so pictures then if I get it, or I could put pictures of my BMW X3 !! That is more unreliable than a Land Rover ,

Cool! Usual electrical nonsense with the X3? or ???

( been there and done that with a ni$$an - saw sense and came back to LR !! )

Get cooler & £700 , turbo @ £900 , rear springs snapped, exhaust gas temp sensor was cheapest @ £40 & electrics do as they want when they want, can't wait for an unreliable Land Rover

chassis may, ( or may not ) have snapped on my previous - and I now see they are doing a recall on them .

As for the electrical "stuff" - this is why we run D1's - but you need to be able to weld, or have deep pockets and long arms really.....

Which LR are you thinking of getting ??

I think I've found a 53 plate discovery 2 G4 version, but it's hard finding out if it is a genuine one.
I had a disco 1 before, & I use to have minis before so I can weld to a good standard, - better than the engineers / fitters at work who couldn't fit a pr**k to a teddy bear !!! As the old saying goes

Ah! - would it have a special vehicles plaque under the bonnet? or is it worth ringing LR special vehicles to ask them ( or have you already tried that )

:D:DIndeed :D:D

Why not a D1 again then? :)

IMHO, if you go D2, then budget for a nanocom as part of the purchase price.

I like the look of the facelift ones & don't like getting same car twice as I get bored with them. I have the Denso software & multiplexer for diagnostics so that should be ok for most things, if not I will have to get the nanocom toy to play with
