Hello from sunny Yorkshire

Hello...
I've been lurking awhile, I am a born again land rover owner after a 20 year abstinence I have purchased a 1993 Defender 90 200 TDi...
I'm no mechanic but I will have a go at little jobs.. So far I have re upholstered my seats and added some seat heating, fitted some sound proofing, side steps and lined out the back a bit.
Jobs on my list are heated windscreen and maybe a Radio.
I am trying to keep it standard looking as I like that "retro" look.

I know my tyres/wheels look lost and some bigger ones would look better... It's on my list

That is one tidy looking tratter I hope upgrading the security is on your list of jobs to do if it wasn't the first .
If you're thinking of fitting alloys with your bigger tyres check what axles you've got in case you need spacers

Thanks Marmaduke and Greyhair, yes I have so far fitted a pedal lock, steering lock etc.. I like the wolf wheels... I think they will look nicer than Alloys on the old bus, more in keeping.
