Hi,

I am new to this forum but have been building a project 110 CSW for the last 5 months. Should have come here sooner and saved some doh on some of the rubbish I have bought. Never mind!

I am about 75% in now. Car up and running (well expect for my fuel filter issue mentioned in another thread....).

I took this picture yesterday on the Suffolk cost at sunrise. Who needs to travel to Africa!

I wanted a 300tdi and found a tatty but solid one at the right price after seeing several over priced dogs. Since then I have welded in new footwells, fitting new shocks, poly bushes, and springs, new, new headlining, carpets, rear seats, front seat covers, wheels and tyres. I have also fitted heat seat kits and headed front screen. New discs, wheel bearings and callipers all round.Mantec snorkle.

I have had a blast shopping for all the kit and wrestling with the defenders mechaniscs.

I have an intercooler, raptor console, split battery, small silly stuff and exhaust to fit together with the usual under body guards. Its better than Christmas! I still need to find a roof rack too.

The aim eventually is to prep her for short overland trips as money allows. In the meantime I hope to explore the suffolk land rover club and their off road course plus a bit of green laning. Mainly though it will be a communing hack just so I can smile every time I see her waiting for me in the car park.

Not sure if I need a winch?

Hello and welcome.

I'm in Suffolk too. :) That picture is not taken too far from where I live.
