Hello,
I am the 'proud' owner of a 1989 110.
I've had it for 11 years and replaced just about everything apart from the roof.
The motor has evolved from the original 19J to a 200 tdi and now a 300.
Replacing the bulkhead was the most 'fun' task i've done.
I use it for work (tree surgery) so the winch takes a beating and the 3/4 roof rack is a useful platform for hedge trimming and carrying my kayak.
The back is converted to a one man camper with fridge/sink cooker etc.
It is quirky, but I love it.
I'm happy to try just about any task as long as I know what I SHOULD be doing.
If I ever get any spare time from tweeking the landy I like to do a bit of carpentry.
It's all about wood!
That's about it.
