Hello from me...

Hello All

I am new to this forum and going to introduce myself.

I have just bought my first Land Rover, a 1990 Defender 90, with a TDi engine in it. It needs a little bit of work, on trim etc.

I come from a practical background, I have worked a little with argos, tractors, general machines and occasional help fixing the odd landrover. So as long as i have instructions i can usually carry out some tasks on machines.

I am sure that this forum will help me with my landrover I am a newbie at landrovers tho

Thank you ! Yes me too, i only got it home today, spent all day cleaning it today, Hoping to move onto some headlights/dash light diagnostic work tomorrow. For some reason they are not working :/

Also got to get some heat coming through the heater. But thats why i bought a landrover so i can do stuff to it

Took me 2 days to clean all the crap out of mine it had been a farm vehicle & im pretty sure had never been cleaned ! ha

mine actually has heat ! i was gobsmacked, bloody hot as well !

Yeah mine came from a farm, and i think i took half the farms mud with me too. Need to finish cleaning the inside tomorrow, Back to Black is my new friend.

Thats good, Think i just need to adjust the cables, maybe a flap stuck too. Thats tomorrows jobs.
