Hello everyone!
I have a beautiful Series III (1977) called Frank. I found him at a farm about a month ago and he winked at me, so I had to buy him.
I had been looking for a small 4x4 for a while and was looking at Vitara's and stuff (the shame....
) but then Frank came along and he is perfect!!
He's got the 2.25 petrol and everything is original. Even the tyres he came with were 'very' original!! He only had 4500 miles on him (I've done 1000 since) and his interior and engine bay reflects his low mileage.
I'm currently (with my husband and a knowledgable friend) working on getting him serviced, putting an Ashcroft transfer box in and tidying up his paintwork. Even though he'd been sat and the covered bits are lovely, his paint work is faded and he has a dent on both front wings.
So, that's me! I always try and wave at fellow Land Rover drivers, so if you see us about, give us a wave!
