Hello from Essex

Hi all

First off I'd like to say that I do not own a Land Rover !!

I own a 2006 Ford Ranger and am very active on Ford Ranger Forum UK • Index page.

However, I am getting more and more into going off road and have been modifying my truck to suit. The only problem being that there isn't much out there in the way of knowledge/parts for the Ranger with regards to off road, so I thought i'd join your community so get some more info on body lifts, tyres, etc.

Currently, I have a 2" suspension lift, 16" wheels and 265x75 BFGoodrich AT/TAs which have done me fine for greenlaning , but as I said, I would like to go further.

Hi, I live in Blackmore, which is near Ongar.

yeah i no it, dont no much on the ranger thou, my boss has a 57 plate one 20" wheels, chrome side steps, roll bar, and rear bumper. tinted windows, full leather, roll and lock cover he bought it of fords it was there show truck so it has all the toys. i used it once to tow my caravan on hoilday and it was a nice drive and pulled well

I really like mine, I think its a great all round vehicle. Comfy, Practical, Smart looking and Fun .

Plus it seems to be quite capable in the wet and muddy stuff as it keeps up with my mates Disco.

Was going to go to Essex off Road tomorrow but they cancelled so hopefully will go next weekend.
