Hello all, I’m Randy,
I put where I’m from not where I live to throw off the thieves and assassins. Hope it works.
Any ways I have a 70 Series 2A that I’ve completely disassembled and am just now rebuilding. I bought it from a friend who was planning on rebuilding it. He was diagnosed with cancer and is unable to start the project. He seems to be through the woods but at any rate, I’m hoping to get it done ASAP.
So far I’ve torn the entire thing down to pieces, I’ve had the frame, door frames, bulk head, wind screen fram and trim galvanized. Last night I installed bushings and front/rear springs and axles. Everything looks good so far with the exception of a slight twist in the rear 1/3 of the frame back to the cross member.
I would really appreciate advice as I work through this. Thanks in advance guys.

Welcome Randy, I am also randy but my name is James. Sorry couldn't resist that one. Is that a new galvanised chassis or did you recon' and hot dip your original one? It looks a good project, any advice you require just ask.

LOL, I knew some one would take advantage of that.
Thnx James. Im about to head back out and see what else I can break.
So far its been Knuckle skin.

Looks like a good project, Randy. Get rid of those 4" amber lenses -- if you can get them (I probably have one or two spare somewhere..), they are seriously overpriced. Because you can't get them. Unless you are into 100% original. You will be just as happy and serviceable with replacement amber lights from a defender. Welcome to Landy Zone
