Hi all.
My name is Andy and I live in Selsey which is about as far south as you can get below Chichester. Next birthday is 66 (oh god that old already) and have always loved classic cars and bikes for about as long as I can remember.
I have been doing a running resto on a 1975 MG Midget 1500 for the last couple of years which is now pretty much done.
I have always had a hankering for a LR and this year will be it. We used to use series 3s at Heathrow Airport where I was employed for 32 years and loved them. So that's what I will be after. I have started looking about but I will have better finances after September for something very usable, I don't want any heavy restoration on this one. I have been looking on the forum for sometime and what a great place it is.
I will no doubt have a million questions for everyone and any advice will be greatly appreciated especially what to look out for during the buying process. I remember the old chassis and bulkhead issues but that's about it apart from the obvious but as said any advice gratefully received.
