Hi all
Just wanted to introduce myself before I start posting Qs and digging out info from this forum.
I am currently a virgin when it comes to owning and working on Landys.
I have been for as long as I can remember into to classic minis and have owned and worked on quite a few over the last 10 years.
My last project was an all out rebuild which left me with a lovely mini but alas with the arrival of my first child 6mnths ago it had been sitting in the garage unloved due to it being completly unsuitable for the little one and wife to go out in for even a short trip.
I have decided to sell my little mini and now have my eyes set on a new toy which hopefully will be far more practical in the long run yet just as fun to work and play with.
A good friend of mine is moving of to Oz and so I am buying his 87reg 90 van back from him which has already had a 200tdi disco lump dropped in but still needs gearbox and a bit of love plus I need to make it LEZ compliant.
Hopefully this forum will give me a great sounding board for ideas hint and tips along the way.
Look forward to getting stuck in and hopefully when the 90s on the road I can get off road for some fun with the whole family.
