Hello from a new owner

Hi everyone! Just another colonial rebel who figured I'd take home a souvenir from my government sponsored 'vacation' here in the UK and bought a 1995 300TDi Def 90 recently. Actually been lurking in the shadows for a while waiting for the right one to pop up. Have a year or so left to tidy it up before sending it back home, really look forward to exploring more of the island here in this thing. Flying around the UK I always come across the lone Defender plodding around the Peaks district or out in the Lakes district. I even get some waves and light flashes as we wiz along. Back down to earth...even got my first defender wave driving around the other day....filled me with glee. The wife was less impressed.

Have already gleamed a ton of knowledge from this site prior to purchasing, so thanks!

There is a member on here built and flies his own plane (not a kit one). For some reason he prefers P38’s

Took my sister several trips in my LHD veh, when I was on leave, before she realised overtaking was not as simple as look and go
