Hi all,
I am based in France with a lovely old classic Range Rover which I call Eddie. She is in need of a bit of TLC as her top tailgate is corroding badly and the bottom seal is coming away. But through looking at all your good advice, have ordered an Aluminium top tailgate through Paddocks (cheapest by far) and some LHD lights, she should be back to her stately looks! So may need a bit of advice when it comes to the fitting!

One problem we did have recently, saggy headlining! This is a common problem, I know but we got over it by injecting wallpaper paste (of all things) in between the roof and the material and it worked a dream - no unslightly stains! Hope it may help any of you with the same problem - try it!
Look forward to speaking to you on other subjects.:)V8Eddie

Welcome Eddie. Like the wallpaper paste idea, I once had a classic Rangie with this problem but just lived with it

Thanks for the welcome to the mad house!. Will get some pics posted soon. Does anyone know of a Landrover club in Brittany? Have never offroaded but always fancied getting dirty.
In answer to Cabbie, no used one of those throw away plastic syringes - it was certainly messy and very sticky but did the job fine.
