good morning everyone.

well lets get started then my name is Glynn I live in Dewsbury and I like to wear women's cloths...........oops that's the other forum ha ha ha :pound:

i am a new landy owner and have a 53 plate 2ltr 3 door Freelander.

i can imagine i will be in here a fair bit as i do as much of my own maintenance as i can.

got this and a rover 25 to replace the terios my wife and i had rover is now hers as she has passed her test at last and the Freelander is mine as i am the only one that can tow the caravan.

if there is anything i need to know right now before i go too far with my new car please let me know and lets get the nightmares out the way 1st.

Welcome, forum is a font of deep knowledge and easy to search. If you have not been 'off road' as such, try the greenlaning section - most areas have a green lane thread and the hardy group of experts who are a great source of advice.

thanks Stuart45 will have a look though i am in the snagging stage of the car atm as i have a very comprehensive 6 month warranty with the car and will make sure it's used where needed. before i take it off any road want it to be in excellent condition

how would they know if i do?

but really it's for the caravan and not really for going off road as i don't ave the money to sort out anything i do wrong and i imagine i would do plenty if i tried to lol

you know the "yes i can........oh .......ooops! .....maybe i can't"

:D Just guessing when you take it in with rock damage underneath they might suspect. If your new to it, lots of clubs and pay and play days with club trucks.
yes I can ...... oh....oops ....maybe I can't - well I got a Defender, now I just go 'oh **** it did it'
lol
