I’m a first timer Lol on forums period and I hope I’m doing this right.
I need please some help with a 2006 LR3 that wasn’t starting at times for a long time and now crank and crank but no start. I check fuel ok , new crank sensor , cam sensor , ignition capacitor , ignition switch , no faults on the ECU. The curios is that I’m tbe first crank it does spark just once and you notice the detonation and that’s about it and after the engine is cranking that one spark goes away. I also check timing and is perfect.
Any help will be appreciated
Thank you

Welcome from sunny Scotland...…(well it is today for a change):)

You will get a better response if you post in the relevant section for your LR model ;)

Beware of the anything goes section if your new to forums lol
Cheers Kev

I think "spark" might give it away :p:D;)

Considering I had a guy at work asking me what spark plugs he needed to get for his 1.7TD combo van at work I think it best to ask the question :p

He was quite bemused by the idea of compression ignition and just couldn't get his head round it not needing a spark to ignite the fuel
