Just a note to say hello......

My name is Wullie and I am afraid I'm becoming a Landrover addict......

Just got a Freelander TD4 2004 and I also still have a RangeRover P38 sitting in my drive that I've had for 4 years and I am going to sell shortly.....

The Freelander has various things needing done to it and I am sure to be asking questions, apologies in advance!!

Welcome aboard :)

Too much technology in either of them for me personally, but the knowledge about them on here is fantastic.:)

Me too, thats why I want a Series 2a or similar....much as I love the rangie, its got way too many beeps and whistles....too much to go wrong....
The Freelander has a busted rear window actuator, so thats my first job.......

Spend a bit of time in the RR section, and post some of your problems up - they will, I suspect have all been seen before, most of them several times  - and the answers will be on here too... and the same applies to FL :)

We run D1's cos they are, essentially an RRC with a diesel engine, without the associated capital cost - but they ROT for fun - but I can weld, so I don't care about that ( :p to rust !).

I love that P38, but its gonna go, way too many leccy based problems and some really weird problems.....random door locking....etc
I am beginning to enjoy the FL, I am planning on fixing the rear door/window this week, found some tips on here already.
I'll let you know how I get on....
Never had a disco, but I do like the older ones, I am not a fan of new motors.....never have been!
