Me and my D1 50th are going on an expedition to Nordkapp, Norway (northernmost point on mainland Europe accessible by road), leaving late December this year.
I've bought a Webasto thermo top C pre heater to help the old girl start in the arctic, I'm pretty confident (with a mate's help) on the fitting side of things but don't know where to place it as there isn't a great deal of room in the engine bay (cruise/aircon/auto model).
Any suggestions? Preferably from someone who's fitted one to a D1.
I've considered removing the air powered cruise gubbins and mounting it there.
