Hi all, just an introduction as a new member.
Not a Landy owner yet, looking at a couple of discoverys at the moment as I need to change the work horse to accommodate tools and dogs. I'm a locksmith by trade, live in Merthyr Tydfil, I've got an 11 yr old German shepherd, 10yr old English Springer and two kids who live with my ex but that's enough of that. Currently have an Audi A4 avant Quattro 3.0 V6 manual which is on its last legs. With a bit of luck I'll have a disco in the next few days and I guess that's when the fun starts. I think I need to learn to weld! Any who, hello all and I look forward to interacting with you all over the coming months/years.

Hi there, I'm dieseldog, an avid heavy plant and machinery enthusiast, currently running a 200Tdi 3 door Discovery 1 with a few mods, I like walks in the park with my dwarf doberman pinscher and romantic candle lit meals, or Micks monster burgers just outside Pompey, currently attached, but for the right money and all that ;)

The GSD is a rescue, loyal with an unknown but suspectedly dubious history and the Springer is an ex shoot dog who's gone deaf so not so effective on shoots anymore. Both nearly 11 so not dissimilar to an old landy financially.

I know what you mean about cost :D I foster for several GSD rescues and adopted two oldies . They've both gone now and I was landed with a Collie on Sunday , not sure if she's going or staying yet . Anyway I have side-tracked you, oops, normal for LZ though.
