Well hello to everyone,

My names Alex, I own a Discovery 1 V8 and have done for about 4 years now.
Touch wood bar the usual problems it’s been good to me and I really wouldn’t want to change for anything!

I work for an agricultural engineers and we do lots of custom fabrication and I do lots at home too so maybe I can be of use to some of you!

We loves a chat and a craic on ere and piccies, loves piccies almost as much as bacon sarnies.

Maybe if I saw some pictures of your handy work I might even commission you to make me something flashy?

Sounds like I’ve come to the right place regards the bacon sarnies!

I’ll have to have a look at your build, I guess mine is just beginning spent 4 years pretty much standard bar a growly exhaust, it’s a V8 and needed to sound like one!

Will certainly be popping some pics up soon! Will be making a new fuel tank cradle tomorrow with any luck as found my fuel tank resting on the antiroll bar the other day.

I picked up an unused second hand HD tank guard from a nice chap I used to know in Holland when I lived there, came up by chance with some HD Bearmach blue springs so I grabbed the two, my only wish is that I'd held off on the tank guard and got one with a removable towbar/recovery pintle, but never mind, I don't tow anything anyways an I got a bridle for my rear jate rings so no drama.

Be nice to see a build thread/this is what I did in the Discovery section, always good to see some techy stuff lol

Ok just had look at some hd tank guards and might have to make one!

I’ve started a build thread anyway with a pic of how I first bought her, and will update with some current and my tank cradle efforts tomorrow!
