Hi everyone, am new to the group & landrover owning, please be gentle!
Have a 2003 discovery 2 td5 which am having a love/hate time with at the moment. Have owned her since March last year & have to say is a great car!
Am hoping for some advice on the recent problem if anyone could help please?
Was driving along the other day as normal, lost power, spluttered a lot then cut out, wouldn't restart but turning over, usually starts first turn of key. Did the purge of the fuel pump, started eventually, ran for mile or so then the same again, recovered back home & same symptoms since!
History since I've owned her, new injector loom due to oil in red plug. New head gasket 1000 miles ago, injector seals replaced at time, new intercooler pipes/ hoses today as had hole in metal one. Power steering pipes, track rod & ball joint, new in tank fuel pump last week. Still having same problem, starting eventually after purge runs for while then cuts out! Pump is whirring & fuse is fine. Any ideas anyone??
