I just thought I'd introduce myself as a new Freelander owner (as of yesterday). Bog standard 05 TD4 SE with 105k miles. Everything works - which I understand is a bonus for a freelander ;-), but I'm planning a bit of tarting up and tuning on it in the near future...
... I did these to my x-type jag a couple of years ago and it made a huge difference to the performance and economy, so planning this on the Freelander.
- Inlet manifold clean and egr blank
- terraclean
- ecu remap
If anyone's got any experience of those for the Freelander than I'd appreciate the feedback - and I'm sure I'll find some info when I start using the search function - otherwise I'll post results here for others.
Oh yes, I live near Portsmouth so if anyone knows a good garage/dealer to use, and somewhere where I can get a new key/fob and the radio code I'd appreciate that too.
