i have just purchased a 1994 300tdi.
so i thought it was sensible to join the forum.
this is the first landy i have owned and it needed a bit of work to the motor
it was only running on 3 pots/ found the rocker shaft was broken someone had replaced a broken stud with threaded bar which pulled out of the head causing the shaft to break.
all fixed now for the grand sum of £68.00
good when you work for a land rover garage
£10.00 for a replacement head skimmed at that.
then £58.00 for all other parts gaskets new head bolts ect.
now sounds sweet.
