hi all, just thought i would introduce myself. my name is keith and im from derby.I just purchased a landrover 300tdi, so i can practice some off roading as a beginner. Think i've been stiched up lol.

From a dealer who is not interested. the problems are with the engine when cold. The engine fires up straight away,but when reved to 1500-2000 there is a rumble and a puff of smoke greyish-blueish colour (strong diesel smell to it).Its fine when driven with lots of power and when warm there isnt that rumble or smoke. i can take it for a blast and will be ok for a 2 or 3 days. i changed the plugs and the 2 middle ones had oil on them.

its been serviced, new glow plugs, new lift pump and ive blanked the egr and changed the pipe. the egr is blanked just past egr valve as couldn't undo nuts of the block
