I have a D2 commercial with 187000 on the clock and a few issues as one would expect, I'm not new to land Rovers in fact many years ago I worked for a Land Rover specialist as a fitter / mechanic ( overland vehicle services Methwold Suffolk) the D2 was new when I gave up spanner masturbating and went to a much better paid job in museums. so I am a little behind the times but quite knowledgeable on anything Land rover prior to the D2.

have a particular interest in military variants and
I have owned many over the years and from a series IIA up to D3 ,never had a Range Rover one day maybe!
