hi guys! ill cut a long story short im 24 but between 17 - 23 I had 12 cars ranging from mr2 turbos to Clio 182 trophies (never had a "big" car or jeep
then when I turned 23 I found a really cheap audi tt 225 up for sale it was 2800 I negotiated with guy and after a lot of arging I ended up buying it for 2k and she had 157k on her now I only bought it after showing the guys on the TT forum the cars I was looking at and they said yes we recommend high milers IF they actually have all the paperwork to back up the essential work and so I took a gamble considering my clio blew up at 60k I wasn't that confident now over a year later the only thing I've had to do Is tax her mot her and put tyres on her (and a mods to my taste of course) that was it I fell in love but now I've got a daughter on the way im wanting to go from one extreme to another I want a bigger car or a jeep and I have always had a soft spot for the big 4.4 v8 I remember i was only 15 when my uncle had a brand new one and that was a car to me that I said i will have that one day ! ha so what im saying it I am now a firm believer that u can get high milers if you haven't got the cash to buy a new one, anyway before you fall asleep reading this I just want to know what's the deal with rangeys ? I heard all the horror stories about TTs but my gamble paid off now im look for a 2003+ vogue im hearing their horror stories so im doing what I did on the TT forum, coming to you lot to share your experience and maybe put some confidence in me ... is 80k+ bad on a rangey ? I don't know that's why im here

much appreciated if you read all of that I swear if I get one and I become a frequent user on here I wont do much more that 2 sentences from now on haha ! thankssss

Hello and thanks for the story.

Sorry, can't help with the question aside from the fact that on any older vehicle buy on condition and history not necessarily on mileage or age.

One word of advice is whatever you do, don't call them Jeeps!
