Hi,

The front n/s corner of my '96 P38 DT tends to sit higher than the other corners and occasionally the n/s will be noticably higher than the o/s when left on the level. I'd like to test the height sensor(s) output to see if any needs replacing. Any advice on how to do this please? If the sensor(s) needs replacing and I do it myself will the car be drivable to the garage to have the suspension recalibrated?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Thanks for that. I don't fancy lugging my desktop outside so I'll just have to wait for my son to bring his laptop back from uni :).

i had the same problem with mine i reset the values using the eas software, what a great bit of kit. where you based?

Echo the above responses - my RR developed a decided list to starboard at one stage, and the software and lead was excellent - eventually I changed that sides height sensor as it continued to play up; that solved the problem in the end. I also bought a cheap Panasonic Toughbook on ebay for under £50 to run the P38 software exclusively - hoping to buy a Faultmate SV soon, which I'll use the Toughbook for as well, but everytime I nearly have £500 set aside for it, something else on the RR busts :(:(

there is only a few wires on the lead, just order a cat 5 cable for a couple of quis on ebay and splice the cables to make a long one!! do it all from the comfort of the house!!!
