Hi, my P38 heating was working OK last winter, now we heading back in to it again the drivers side has no heat only luke warm air, the near side throughs out loads of heat. I have been told that is could be a sticking valve behind the dash, any ideas? How hard are these to get too? Will a bit of WD40 in the right spot do the job?
Many Thanks

Sounds like a Blend Motor - in theory, its a major piece of work that I beleive is "officially" a dash out job....

However, it can be done with everything in place, just more fiddly - have a search in the Range Rover forum

Sorry couldn't help more

drivers blend motors can be done in couple of hours, using screw driver bit and 1/4 drive ratchet and a spanner.

A **** to do but can be done by removing instrument clocks-make sure you have a working eka code and disconnect battery.
