morning all, just wondered if anyone knows where the resistor pack for the heater motor on a 91 200tdi lives? Fans dead

fuse ok, so gonna check the resistor pack next if that ok then the fan itself. If it turns out to be a dead fan how much of a f*ckon is it likely to be to replace it? Ta

If you check my pictures( don't know how to do a link) I have a few pictures of the dash removed/heater etc exposed if you have aircon check one of the two fans for aircon has not shorted leaving all dead but it should only take two hours max to replace complete blower unit I paid £40 for s/hand unit p.s don't know where resistor pack is located

Your pics answered both questions the resistor pack that thing that looks like a cigar with wires sticking out hanging down in front of the heater matrix ta very much

probs not that cos usually would still have full speed on the fan but worth checking anyway and if it aint i'll already be into the rest of it anyway weekend project
