Heater question

When I got my Landy the previous owner used the hot and cold lever and wired the cable to the choke. Not sure why also it's fairly toasty in the cab even with the fan off

I ant to put it back to normal just not sure where the cable for the heater goes to, I can see he heater box with two pipes going into it is there something the cable attaches to in there,

Has anyone got any pics please as can't find out in the manual

One of the cables goes to the tap on the top front of the block. The other goes to the flaps that divert the air inside the bulkhead/dashboard airbox.

I don't have a tap on the engine there's a place that looks like it may have had one

You need one of these

nope it fits at the other end of the engine on top of the water pump bizznis

follow the other pipe from your heater unit with the black steel pipe attatched

the tap will be at the other end of this

Doh I don't seem to have one of those

only needs a wash down after i get me tappets right

and after the rebore and complete refurb ive just done on that engine im not surprised

Just a question on the cable as I have all the other bits - is the genuine article for sale anywhere or does everyone use bike brake cable?

I have just realised what the two wires coming through the bulkhead in mine are meant to be doing...

I don't have that tap thing there either, it's always on hot.
