Ok Here goes. My heater fan stopped working. So I replaced the Regulator Fuze but that didn't do the trick. I have replaced the heater fan and now it works on setting 4 but 1, 2 and 3 don't work. Any ideas I am now a bit confused as to what to do next.

You collective expertise is needed.

Kind regards

Kieran

hi

is the heater switch ok, as you've replaced the heater resister , have u tried cleaning the switch with a contact cleaner or maybe get one from the breakers

plus I think it's only speed 4 that goes through a relay where the others dont, are the fuses ok

just a thought

Check the connections on the resistor pack for voltage, you must be getting power to the switch for it to power the relay for speed 4.

your resistor pack has gone it is up by the peddles only 2 screws to take out and you can get the resistors of ebay a £5 note and so simples to do

Hi Guys. After lots of trying I can't get the console panel that the heater switched are behind. Try as I might it just won't budge. I have taken the screw out from the back of the Ash tray recess, the 2 screws out that hold the heater switches in and the 2 screws either side in the foot wells. I still can't get it to budge. What am I doing wrong. The Jains manual only mentions these screws. Help to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

hi

are u talking about removing the centre console out

there are screws ,

in the centre ,by the hand brake a panel, lift up with a thin blade, there is a screw there

2 x screws either side of the foot well

2 x screw at the top of the centre console , where the radio is, if u have a radio cage the 2 x screws will be hidden behind that

screws behind the heater control knobs

4 x screws that hold the heater control panel to the centre console

the heater control unit will not pull forward as there are two cables behind it

plus the radio - CD player has to come out

u need to pull off the wires from behind the switches to allow the centre console to come out

hope that helps
