Hi Folks

I have just spend the weekend sleeping in my 1995 Disco in freezing temps. A problem that I have noticed over the weekend is that the heater will not blow hot air when the jeep is idiling. The temp guage was in the hot zone in the dash, but no hot air through the vents, the jeep would ony blow hot air when she was on the move.

Can anyone adivse if this is normal or is there a fault somewhere.

Thanks

Since when has a Land Rover been a "Jeep"??????

If you are getting hot air whilst tootling along there is no reason why you should'nt whilst stationary.

You might have half a heater problem (half blocked heater matrix, faulty thermostat) which is showing up on idle,do a search for heater, matrix problem.

JEEP JEEP JEEP,,whats going on here, doesnt spell checker work..lol
I always thought Landies were over cooled and it would never get warm on tickover anyway, always need a good run to get hot, get a new sleeping bag time i think
