Hi
Trying to extract the heater plugs on my Series 3 diesel. First one just
about accessible, changed that. Second one is tight as buggery, and thats
just the milled top section holding the serial electrical connector. Cannot
see how there is any access for a conventional ring or open ended spanner.
Short of taking out the Air filter and sundry other top end components, can
anyone who has done this job recently offer any advice?
Strange thing as a by the way. When I changed the first (nearest the
radiator) plug, curiosity made me turn the ignition, just to see if I got an
orange light. I did. This morning, when trying to change the others, I
noticed that the ignition does not . Can it be that I am chasing the wrong
squirrel anyway?? Or would it be best to go ahead and change all heater
plugs, THEN check the wiring (at first look the wiring seems ok. nice clean
connectors, and no loose cables.
Any comments welcome
