On a serious note I have seen two heater matrixes (matrixii?) bodged into one before with quite good results. Obviously before you go cutting stuff up or ordering new parts check all your cables linkages and flaps are free and that your cooling system is clean and clear with no rusty gunk in it.

Begining to get fed up with my 2004 90XS and the time it takes to heat up. I dont thrash a car when cold so have to wait a long time ! I start 10 mins before i drive, only 6 miles to the office and it just about gets warm. 90% of the rad shut off, so its not a stat problem.
