On my 300tdi the blowers dont work, its the slider type switch, as i move it up from the off position to number 1 i hear a click in the passanger footwell, like a relay or something, but nothing hapens to the blower no matter what position the slider is in.. The click can then be heard again when its moved back to the off position..

Any ides what i should check? as its hard to see on the cold dark mornings drive to work..

Thanks
Shaun

On many cars there is a resistor pack that fails this controls the blower settings like 1-4 only one of them will work, however im unsure if or where it's fitted to a landy.

The resistor pack is mounted on the side of the heater ducting behind the glove box.
Usually when the resistor goes the fan blower runs at full speed.
I think your slider switch may be faulty after that it's worth checking the blower fan motor. Easy job on a 300, undo a few screws and it drops into passenger footwell.
