Heated Windscreen

Just got up this morning to take the dog out and the wifes car was white over with frost. Excellent I thought, time to test the heated screen. We bought the car, a 1999 rangerover 2.5dse in April this year, so I have'nt had time to see if the screen worked or not! Well I was quite amazed at just how fast it melted the ice on the screen this morning. Question is though why did Landrover only fit it to their high in the range cars? a heated screen being the nature at what it does should have been fitted as std to every defender leaving the production line, Landrover really messed up there I think.

You can get replacement heated screens. Not much more than a standard one when I priced around. Bit of wireing and your there. When funds permit, I will likely get one.
