Has anyone fitted a heated screen to their defender? If so where is best place to buy one from?
Heated windscreen.

If you are in the North West you could try Bolton Safety Glass 01204393260 and ask for Tim (the owner). I got a plain windscreen off him for £30 (pilkingtons glass) and thought it was a great price. Pretty sure he could sort you one.
For an original heated screen from Land Rover you are looking at around £350
you wont pay that much.
If you are replacing a basic with a heated screen... just check how it connects up and if the seal is any different to accomodate any wiring?
Get it fitted for an extra £20.... it really is worth it.
