Heated seat repair pics

Good post the drivers seat in my disco 2 has stopped working last winter, had a quote from local dealer of £40 +VAT for element and advised to replace the foam squab as well @ £40+VAT, that per seat, then the passenger one packed up this winter :doh:. Will have to take them apart and have a look now, especially if the the wife see this

Anyone tried these, bit pricey but if they do what they say on the packet.

why not change the resistor for the higher temp one and repair the broken wires in the orginal seat elements for a fraction of the price of those kits.

Does any one have any spare stat's left they'd like to sell ?

have a look on this thread as im sure there was a link for the uprated stat which will keep your backside warmer than the standard ones.

Has anyone any experience of repairing rear heated seats in a 2003 L322 HSE ?

My front seats work perfectly but the rears sadly do not

I have carried out the diagnostic procedure and have a double flash at the switch - this indicates faulty heat sensors

Whereabouts within the 2 rear seats are the sensors ?

Are they in the base or the back ?

Can someone take a pic of their seat and circle the area I need to go digging please
