heated screen relay

i'm in the process of wiring up the heated front screen that i have fitted to my defender. to operate it i have fitted a 70a relay but wanted a timer relay to operate this. i bought one of these

from mobile centre. i believe i've wired it up correctly but have no output when given a supply from my momentary carling switch, this is how i have wired it.

but i have terminal 5 feeding the switch input of my 70a relay.

where am i going wrong?

1 12v momentary switch in
2 earth
3 12v battery
4 12v ignition feed
5 12v switch out to 70a relay


i have checked all these feeds and they are ok. i'll call mobile centre first thing tomorrow as i am assuming the relay is faulty. but thought i'd get input from others incase i am doing something wrong

I finally sorted it, it was my error in the end. that's what I get for wiring up in the dark!!! I wired the relay using the diagram from a plan view so pins 1 and 2 were the wrong way around. Mobile Centre were great and called me back to help me out, luckily i'd discovered my error all on my own lol

ps, yes I do feel like a numpty lol
