Heated rear window in my 93 200TDi 110 is not working.

I have searched previous posts, and none provides the answer, so once the HRW is fixed I will update this thread with my fault-finding suggestions.

(a) Some toe-rag has removed the HRW relay from its socket 
(b) There is no +volts at the Voltage Sensitive Switch. (According to wiring diagram it should be a permanent live.)

- What is the part number for the HRW relay? (Or can I just plug in a 'standard' 30A relay?)
- Any clues on how to test the Voltage Sensitive Switch off-vehicle?
- Any idea where the other end of the +ve wire to the VSS emerges from the wiring loom?
- Suggestions for a low-current permanent live feed behind dash that I can tap as an alternative to (3)? (Don't want to cut into a thick wire, such as for headlights.)
