Why does my rear screen keep blowing fuses every time I turn it on? Can't see any bared wires or loose connections anywhere. Any help appreciated.

Sounds like it must be shorting out somewhere. Time to get the digital multi-meter on the job. Like I know what I'm talking about
You could maybe find out what the resistance of the heater element should be, then test that to see if it's correct.
Then test the supply to it. See if you get a good 12v from it. However, without the heated screen attached the easiest route for the current might be through the meter to eart when you test it. So, if you could test the live through a resistance (preferably a known amount) you might see a big drop in volts as it takes an easier route elsewhere. ie through a short circuit.
This would be my first amateur sparky approach. I would then post on here and hope that someone like Kwakerman spotted the post. There are quite a few good electronics folk on here, so hopefully my ramblings prompt a more knowledgeable response. ;)
