Heat Soak p38 4tl v8

As any other p38 v8 owner come across this problem.M 8v sufferes from heat soak on hot days,it runs fine until we stop then the fun starts,If I stop for about 15/39 minutes the heat builds up under the bonnet and when I start up and pull away there is no power and it coughs ans spluters until we hit the open road and the engine gets to a working temp then all is fine.As anyone else come across this problem and if so how was it rectified.I leave the bonnet up which is fine but then you can't leave the car.

Hmmm, sounds like something electronic is starting to leak as the temperature climbs. Sensor starting to breakdown?

Or an A/C unit mounted on the bonnet.
