headlining

Hi guys im after a headlining for a 90 van without alpine windows.

I cant find one anywhere other than lasalle trims and they cost a fortune!!!

I was wondering if anyone had one for sale or knew where I could get one????

I was contemplating making my own out of fibreglass it would cost a fraction of the cost and modify to my own spec plus its something I would enjoy but ive got lots on at the min so if I can get one ready made for now then that will do.

i have a front van head lining non sunroof with visors i paid £70

Ive got the front one already mate just the rear I need buddy.

I could do with one too, and only seem to see front or 110 rears.

Post up if you come up with a cunning plan.

Carpet tiles

Heat resistant spray. Closed cell camping mats or but a roll of the stuff. Line it ( 20thick makes fabric easier) then glue fabric to it and tuck into the joins. Looks well plush

carpet times

well I was planning on lining it with camping mats under the headlining if I ever find one.

but I like the idea of getting the measurements making a jig stretching some fleece over it and fibre glassing my own and then lining it in some acoustic cloth or something, that way I can modify it to suit my needs i.e. interior lights speakers and was going to attach it using fir tree studs.

but like I said ive got a garden to finish before winter a kitchen floor to tile plus work so ive not got a lot of spare time at the minute.

I've been looking for one as well but I've been told they didn't make them. So, now I'm looking for a roof with Apline windows and no sunroof. They seem to be as rare as rocking horse **** as well.

They definitely made the headlining; I've seen a few at various shows, but they were all upwards of £100 and not in particularly good condition.

I eventually fitted ThermaWrap General Purpose Wrap from Homebase.co.uk with high temperature adhesive:



I've been thinking about carpeting over the top, but it actually looks ok as it is, so I might just leave it like this.

They did make them ive seen two on ebay in the past 18 month and both went for over £180 and they were f**ked.

think im gunna try and fabricate one my self out of fibreglass, I'll post some pics if I do.

a breakers in Wolverhampton cannot remember his name (sorry) breaks landrover I brought a new front & rear for my 90 off him last year landrover original parts advertised on e bay.

The one's I've seen on there look suspiciously like Lasalle ones and not land rover.
