Headlining wet

Top corner driver side headlining getting damp. Checked roof seal and there is a slight tear in rubber, what best to fill gap with ?

Ultimately a new seal by the look of it, but temporarily a non hardening black silicon type sealant may work

And that's not a tear that seal has just had it and looks totally perished you'll be chasing that with sealant till you change it
