Taking our 10 plate FL2 to Morocco via Spain two weeks today... Most bits ok... I think!?!

I need to fit deflectors to the headlights (standard halogens) - any particularly good or bad experiences with these?

I don't want to fall foul of Spanish law or spend money on a load of sh*te!

Any advice much appreciated :)

Thanks, Tim.

check the handbook, and then have a look at the back of the lights, some models have adjustable headlights for that reason. Not talking about the up and down bit which is controlled by the switch on the dash, but there is a lever on the back of the light somewhere (on some models) which lets you make the adjustment.

have a jump over to www.freel2.com where there may be an answer, I know there is a fitting guide for the stick on deflectors.

alternatively, there may be acrylic headlight covers available with the deflector bit etched on like I used to have for a Zafira. That was a brilliant solution, worked really well, just clipped them on in eurotunnel and unclipped them on the way back through.

good luck

If there isn't a switch to change them over, then check the logo on the top of the headlights themselves. If there isn't a lever fitted, the headlights should be ok for continental driving (as always refer to handbook)
