Hi guys :) Im new to landys and forums :)

Just picked up my 1992 Defender 90 200Tdi a couple of months ago...

First issue with the landy were the sealed beams. One of the dipped beams went out so I got these as a replacement.

PM1039 | Halogen headlamp conversion kit (RHD) - with Ring Ultra Xenon bulbs

Do I need to fit a Relay or the wiring present is enough not to blow out any switches?

Thanks :)

No its not its to stop your light switch contacts burning up.you wont notice a difference with the brightness.

erm, yes you can, especially if the switch isnt the best.

the existing wiring isnt that butch, and even on a good day you get quite a bit of voltage drop through it.
most folk beef up the wiring feeding the relays, plus its a direct route so you get the full voltage at the lights.
