head light bulbs (3)

I am planning of upgrading the headlight bulbs.
Not to more wattage bulbs, but simply to brighter, less yellow lights.

I believe the dip/main are H4, the high beam H1?..but what are the park lights? 501?

I bought these to replace the 501 park bulbs
T10 CAR BULBS LED ERROR FREE 8 SMD XENON WHITE CANBUS W5W 501 SIDE LIGHT BULB | eBay

And bought the latest Osram nightbreakers for the main beam
2x H4 OSRAM NIGHTBREAKER UNLIMITED DUO PACK HEADLIGHT BULB UPGRADE 64193NBU | eBay

The LEDs are a very nice white. The Osrams are superb bulbs with a much better light output than the standard bulbs, but are still quite 'yellow' compared to the LEDs

I looked at Nightbreakers on Amazon but there were quite a few reviews saying they only lasted a year. Be interesting to see how you get on with them in a P38.

I suppose it depends how often you have them on.

I only use them in the dark - I use the park lights and DRLs during daytime

If by DRLs you mean driving lamps. P38s don't have driving lamps they have fog lamps. Why do you need lights on in the day time are you Swedish?

By DRLs I meant Daytime Running Lights. Mine has them
And no, not Swedish - I'm Dutch

Probably need them with all that scotch-mist.

eurocarparts are currently do Osram Nightbreaker Unlimiteds for £17.99 (twin pack) You'd pay more than that pay that for one in Halfords.
