head gasket....

so last week i was under the impression that the head gasket had blown,but once the head was stripped it was found that the cylinder head had cracked,oh bugger were the hell do you find a 2.5 petrol cylinder head.any way did a bit of googling and found a couple of heads either for silly money or too far away,but then hit gold only 20 miles away from home it had been pressure tested and resurfaced and was off a low mileage 90 from same year (30.000 miles and a 1986)sorted..so just got the old girl back today woooo hoooo running sweet and sounds much quieter then before,,am chuffed to bits landys been off the road almost two weeks. just need a new matrix now then all sorted...
