Hdc inactive

Hi could any body help me please, my 2003 R Rover still keeps coming up with HDC INACTIVE on initial start up only very briefly with just enough time to read it, i have been keeping her on trickle charge and HDC dose work tryed it several times and ok and so dose ABS, i even had it pluged into diognostics and no faults found so any help is much appreciated thank you John.

the HDC works off the ABS, that also relies on the steering angle sensor. That probably needs recalibrating, Try turning full lock to opposite full lock, so it knows where it is.

Thanks for that will give it ago! if it needs recalibrating is it a plugin job? regards John.
