Good evening all,

So went to go get a mot on the 1984 110, which someone put a 300tdi engine in.

As I got there the Indicators decided to pack up. I have changed the relay, hazard switch, and stalk. (Checked fuses) and still nothing. All the bulbs are good as the all light up and flash with hazards, which tells me the outside wiring is OK.
Today I have taken out the entire dash, and have found another relay 7 pin lucas Ywc10050 13Da. I gather this is for the dip lights.

Any other tips? I have continuity between the stalk and hazard switch.

I'm starting to get lost.

Although you say you have swapped the switch, you have the classic symptoms of a faulty switch! It's not unknown for new ones to be duff, especially if its old stock. You could try taking it out, and putting plenty of wd40 around it while turning it on or off, in case it's just dirty/corroded inside. I'd also make sure all the fuse connections are clean and tight - it's easy for a bit of corrosion on the old fuse block to make faults hard to find. A bit of fine emery paper will clean the fuse contact up nicely.

Take the hazard switch out, still connected, and try jiggling/twisting/pushing etc. the switch and connector together with the indicators on. I have noticed that some of the new switches’ pins are too small in diameter to make decent contact and give the appearance of a dud switch.
